
Consumption of mineral waters nearly doubled in Finland, rising from 68 million litres (2015) to just under 116 million litres 2024), according to statistics from the ‘Federation of the Brewing and Soft Drinks Industry’. These statistics exclude figures from ‘Finn Spring’, Finland’s largest bottled water producer, which is not a member of the group, therefore the actual total consumption is tens of millions of litres higher. The consumption of beer and cider has dropped significantly during the same period: people are choosing a non-alcoholic, healthier alternative in a market that also saw the introduction of flavoured waters.
