TDC Net, a Danish telecommunications provider, experienced a significant outage affecting its network, which disrupted emergency calls across the country. The incident raised concerns about public safety, as individuals were unable to reach emergency services during the outage. TDC Net has acknowledged the issue and is working to resolve it while investigating the cause of the disruption.

The outage has had significant consequences: Funen Police have deployed all available patrol cars to the streets, advising residents to approach officers directly if unable to reach police by phone.  Alternative communication methods like FaceTime and Facebook Messenger are suggested for customers with internet access.

It is recommended that people use phones from providers other than TDC or remove their SIM cards altogether to call 112 (phones can connect to emergency services without a SIM card).
